Beverly is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) & Certified Lensen Therapist (CLT).

In 2011 she completed a 2 year (2288 hour) Relaxation and Advanced Therapeutic Massage program at the Northern Institute of Massage Therapy. She also earned her Certification in Lensen Therapy at this time. CLT includes various advanced manual techniques and orthopedic testing to assess and painlessly correct structural imbalances.

Beverly worked in various capacities in the Administrative world for 15 years however, after having children, decided to redirect her career path. Shortly after getting into massage practice she realized her passion. The results that can be achieved when the structural and functional balance of the body are restored; through regular massage, client education of movement patterns and self-care were far more astounding than what she realized possible when starting this work. In many cases, resolving chronic pain, repetitive strains and or sports strains/Injuries. She was hooked, and has never really ‘worked’ a day since!

Instead of obtaining numerous trainings in different modalities, she found a practice and a modality that also focused on structural balance. This work is referred to as Integrated Manual Therapy & Advanced Orthopedic massage taught by international lecturer James Waslaski. She has been on a continuous learning journey with this modality since attending her first seminar in 2013! And has since obtained 132 hours of hands on training with countless hours of clinical practice.

Don’t let pain limit your life or fitness goals! Pain does not have to be a normal part of aging.

I strained my back in a fall I took while skiing this past winter. The muscle tension/ pain has plagued me for about 4 months. I utilized chiropractic and massage elsewhere without success. I've had 3 osteopath and 3 massage sessions ( so far! ) at Black Rock over the past 3 weeks, I'm already sitting straighter, standing taller, and most important... I'm sleeping better! Cheers To Osteopath, and Cheers to Black Rock! Thanx

Rob Mcphee

Ryan Prins

Debbie is an excellent therapist and I have really benefited from her care. My 5 year old daughter had her first massage today and said "that was like a wonder dream." It can't get any better than that, right?

Renee Pearl

I went in for an appt on Saturday to discover that I have a lot of imbalance and incredibly tight hips. Their motto is "we want to help you do more of what you love" and they have done this for me! I have a long way to go but I felt substantial decrease in pain in my hips during my squats at the gym today. I am happy to be on the road to overall body wellness so I can keep lifting heavy weights! Thanks a million Black Rock!

Jessica Brake

Almost three years ago I had a medical incident that left me with a neck problem so severe it made driving all but impossible as I was unable to shoulder check. Out of some universal miracle I found my way first to Debbie, and then added Dwayne to my rescue team. And rescue they did! During the last two years my recovery has been remarkable, and I'm so grateful our paths have crossed. I would follow these guys anywhere, and I'm just so pumped about their beautiful new space. Keep up the amazing work.

Diane Hermary

This should be your only choice for any massages you need! The whole crew at Black Rock is amazing and professional. They will take over Red Deer in the massage world. Top notch quality and even better owners.

Tom Raba

I've been to enough massages to judge a therapist by their work. Joan at Black Rock was the best massage therapist I've ever had. She knew what she was doing, knew what was wrong and how to fix it. I'm hard to impress and this has me very impressed. My Gf went to Black Rock this week as well and saw Kristie and said it was the best massage. We will both return.

Jest Dempsey Sidloski

This clinic is fantastic! They strive to be the best they can be and do that while making you feel like you belong there. Everyone that works here is a master at their craft and I couldn't be happier to have found Debbie an then Dwyane and now Megan. You guys make life a whole lot easier

Tonia Thiessen

I was referred to Dwayne to assess my aches and pains I had been experiencing in my back and lower body for several months. Having multiple sports injuries, Dwayne quickly pinpointed the sources. He then sent me to Kristie for massage therapy. Within a few days, pain has decreased drastically! I cannot say enough positive things! If you want a deep tissue massage Kristi is amazing! Knowledgeable, professional staff

Adam Vetter

Black Rock Therapy has been a life saver for me. I was in a car accident 3 years ago that left me with neck and shoulder issues that Physio, Chiro, acupuncture and other massage therapy would not alleviate the pain ,then I was referred to Dwayne. I cannot say enough positive things. No more headaches, pain is minimal, and I feel so much better overall. Dwayne referred me to Kristi for message and I have to say if you want a deep tissue massage Kristi is your gal. Amazing! All the staff at BRT are friendly and professional . I do not hesitate to recommend anyone to this great office. Keep up the good work!

Barb Teichroeb

What an amazing place. It's more than just massage and osteo...it's a lifestyle business. They adjust and create treatments for you as you need it to ultimately help you live the best life possible. Our business has partnered with them and it's been an amazing success but I can proudly say Im a customer as well and will be a long time

Jack Wheeler

I've recommended Dwayne to countless people, because he's the best in the city. He's been a huge help with my back and hip issues, and he's always interested in how I'm doing, not just fixing a mechanical issue. And to top it off, the massage team here, Debbie, Kristi et al are just fantastic. You can't find better treatment in Red Deer! I couldn't recommend them more highly!
