Shockwave Therapy

What is shockwave?

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that involves creating a series of low energy acoustic wave pulsations that are directly applied to an injury through a person’s skin via a gel.

How is the treatment for Shockwave Therapy performed?

A gel is placed on the injured area. A wand is then used to deliver the acoustic waves into the tissues. This energy promotes the reparative and restorative processes of soft tissues (fascia, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and bones) injuries.
